Cuare is an story based Topdown Shooter with horror and survival elements. Loot and shoot basically. The main protagonist travels around on a worldmap, discovers and visits locations to find supplies. His main goal is to reunite with his companion which he had to leave behind. I don’t want to spoil the game’s story but you get the idea. The environment is hostile so there will be blood.
I started working on Cuare in fall 2015 and I hope to continue to work on it during 2016 with the goal to make it a full PC release. The pre-production prototype was made using Unity 5 and Playmaker. Besides basic Gunplay I managed to implemented map traveling and loading different locations as well as a first draft for the inventory handling and some basic AI so far. The whole structure as savegame handling and Inventory is certainly quite challenging for me as a “non coder”
